Books we're reading: We've been reading books on reviewing how to handle books and check out their books, The one book that we've been using is called The Shelf Elf. It's a great and fun way to help remind children about books and the library.
Author's we're studying: Coming Soon!We've not really been studying anyone author is particular. We've been so busy learning about the library that we've read books, but not studied an author.
Activities we're working on: We have been reviewing about our Shelf Elf that lives here in the Library. He helps teach us Library manners. He works on the Library shelves and loves to read. His name is Scead. He's a cousin to our old shelf elf named Scoob. I'm hoping that the boys and girls will start writing to him soon. He is pretty lonely without getting letters from his friends here at Groton Elementary. Scead has a mailbox here in the library and tries to return mail ASAP.
